The less said, the better for everyone who knows me.

I work for a private research firm/think tank and my boss would skin me alive for saying much more than that on a public forum. Crazy job, but never boring even if it's occasionally terrifying. I do a little bit of everything and CONSTANTLY have to study just to keep up. In my downtime, such as it is, I'm usually researching, studying, cooking comfort-food, enjoying music and/or lit (especially older works of lit -- my taste in music is all over the map), or hanging out with my coworkers.

Nothing else really to say about myself except that I have no idea how my name got on those no-fly lists...


(This is a role-playing journal dedicated to Doctor William Zimmerman from SyFy's "Sanctuary", a contemporary fantasy series set in a world where the things that go bump in the night are real and, as often than not, need more protection than the humans who are afraid of them.

After years of alienation from the regular world, he was recruited into the Sanctuary Network by its founder, immortal scientist Helen Magnus. Will now serves as a psychiatrist and field operative for the Sanctuary, and is the head of the Network's chosen successor. Some years ago, he spent nine minutes dead and in communion with a group of god-likes abnormals, and has not entirely recovered from this experience. Or, at least, he still lets it color his perception in many ways.

His drive to protect, always strong, has only become more so since joining the Sanctuary and it's at its most powerful when he perceives any sort of danger to Sanctuary Head Doctor Magnus.

He's likely a wanted terrorist since the show ended, but he's surprisingly okay with having that status. His dedication to Magnus and the Sanctuary make that more than all right in his eyes, just one more downside of a job he wouldn't give up for the world.)
